Sweet box mockup FAQ

Short answers about boxes, occasions and files.

What are some ideas for sweet boxes?

Run a festive pattern round the walls of a Bakery box, or print the couple's names on a Candy box for each wedding guest. A white Sweets gift box with one gold-colored logo works for festivals; the gold is a printed color, not foil.

How to build a sweet box?

Choose the box by the sweets it holds, type the inside size in Size and place your artwork on the dieline. Export the dieline as a PDF or SVG for a box maker, and order a sample before the full run.

Which box is best for mithai?

For trays of pieces, a hinged Bakery box or Donut box. For festival gifts, the Sweets gift box, a rigid box with a hinged lid, and for small portions, the Candy box. The models have no inserts or dividers.

Can I make a small candy box?

Yes. The Candy box is the Hinged lid box set to 6 × 4 × 2 in (152 × 102 × 50 mm), and it goes down to 130 × 100 × 30 mm inside. Its height can be up to half its width.

Can I add a window to a sweet box?

No. The boxes have no window cut-outs. To show what is inside, render the Takeout box or the Sweets gift box with the lid open, or the open Pastry tray.

What board are the sweet boxes made of?

The Donut, Bakery, Takeout and Candy boxes and the Pastry tray are 0.5 mm paperboard. The Sweets gift box is grey board, 1.5, 2 or 3 mm, in a White, Black or Kraft wrap.

Can I show the sweet box open?

Yes, with the fold slider. The Donut and Bakery boxes stop at Flat and Closed, the Takeout box also at Open, and the Sweets gift box at Open and Closed.

Can I make a sweet box mockup for free?

Browsing the boxes and turning them in 3D is free. Log in with an email code or Google to upload artwork, save projects and render images. Exporting a rendered image or a dieline needs a free account; rendering and downloads are free right now.
