What you can do with AmosMind

One 3D garment, four things you can do with it.

See your design on a 3D garment

Every style is a 3D garment, not a flat template. Turn it to check the front, back and sides, and zoom in on a seam or a print.

  • Rotate and zoom with the mouse
  • Switch between front and back views
  • Set a background color, or make it transparent

Place artwork where you want it

Upload your artwork and put it on the garment part you choose. Move it and scale it, and watch the 3D garment update as you work.

  • Upload PNG, JPG, SVG, PSD or PDF files
  • Work on the front, back, sleeves and other parts
  • Use more than one piece of artwork on a garment

Try colors and fabric

Set the garment color, then try another. Change the fabric to see how the same design reads on a different surface.

  • Pick any garment color
  • Choose a fabric texture
  • Your artwork stays in place while you change colors

Render images to share

When the design looks right, render it. Download the image for a product page, a pitch or a production brief.

  • 2K for web and social, 4K for print and close-ups
  • PNG or JPG, with a transparent background if you need it
  • Rendered in the cloud while you keep working

  2. Artwork on the front piece of the jacket and a row of color swatches with orange selected

Step 2: Add your artwork and colors

Upload your artwork and place it on the front, back or sleeves. Then set the garment color and fabric.

  3. Front and back views of the orange bomber jacket next to an export card

    Step 3: Render and download

Rotate the garment to check it from every side, render an image in 2K or 4K, and download it.

Browse mockups by garment type

Each page lists the styles for one garment type. Every style opens in the same 3D editor.

Where AmosMind fits among clothing design software

AmosMind shows your artwork and colors on a 3D garment. It does not draft sewing patterns, grade sizes or simulate fabric. For that work, look at pattern-based 3D software.

Clothing design software questions, answered

What people ask before they start.

Which software is best for clothing design?

It depends on the job. To develop patterns, fit and construction, designers use pattern-based 3D software such as CLO or Browzwear. To create artwork and flat sketches, they use graphics tools such as Adobe Illustrator. AmosMind covers a different step: seeing artwork and colors on a 3D garment in the browser, and rendering images of it.

Is there an app that helps me design my own clothes?

AmosMind is a web app. Open it in a desktop browser, choose a garment, upload your artwork and change the colors. There is nothing to download. The 3D editor needs a larger screen, so it is not built for phones. AmosMind shows you the design; it does not print or produce the garment.

What software can I use to design clothes patterns?

For sewing patterns you need pattern-making software such as CLO, Browzwear or Seamly. AmosMind does not create or export sewing patterns. It works on ready-made 3D garments, so you can see artwork and colors without drafting anything.

Can I use Canva to design clothing?

You can create artwork in Canva, or in any graphics tool, and export it as a PNG, JPG or PDF. Upload that file to AmosMind to see it on a 3D garment, adjust its position and size, and render an image.

Which garments can I design?

T-shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts, shirts, jackets, blazers, pants, shorts and more. Each one is a 3D garment with parts you can place artwork on.

What files can I upload, and what do I get?

Upload artwork as PNG, JPG, SVG, PSD or PDF, among other formats, up to 50 MB per file. You get rendered images in 2K or 4K, as PNG or JPG. A PNG can have a transparent background.
