Perfume box
Most perfume is sold in a folding carton: a tall, narrow box of thin paperboard that protects the bottle and carries the brand. The common construction is the straight tuck end, where the top and bottom closures are hinged on the same wall. In the ECMA code of carton styles it is A20.20.01.01.
How it is built
The four walls are one strip of paperboard glued along a seam, so the carton is delivered flat and springs into a tube. Each end has a closure panel with a tuck flap and two small dust flaps. On a straight tuck end both closures open toward the back, so the front panel has no raw edge at the top. Our model has 13 panels and 12 crease lines.
Sizes and board
The carton is sized to the bottle with a few millimetres to spare. This one starts at 75 × 40 × 160 mm (3.0 × 1.6 × 6.3 in); at that size the flat sheet measures 238 × 258 mm. Cartons like this are cut from coated paperboard of about 350 gsm, or 16 to 18 pt (0.4 to 0.5 mm).
Printing
Perfume cartons are printed in full color on white board and often finished with foil, embossing or a matte coating. Those finishes are added at the printer; the mockup shows your artwork and the board color.

Each perfume carton is cut to its bottle. These are real carton sizes to start from.

There is no standard perfume carton: each one is cut to its bottle. Measure yours with the cap on and add 2 to 3 mm each way.

From perfume box mockup to printed carton
Set your size
Measure the bottle with its cap, add a few millimetres and type the inside length, width and height. The editor accepts 30–250 × 20–150 × 50–350 mm. Width can be up to the length.
Place your artwork on the dieline
Click Upload artwork and drop your design on the flat sheet. The four walls sit side by side, with the glue flap at one edge and the closures above and below.
Fold it shut in 3D
Drag the Fold slider: the flat carton squares up, the bottom tucks in, then the top. Check that the front panel reads the right way up.
Export the image and the dieline
Render a JPG or PNG up to 4K for a line sheet or a store page. Export the dieline as a PDF or SVG at full size and send it to your carton printer. Ask them to check it against their own board and machines and to make a sample before the full run: board thickness, tolerances and glue areas differ from one factory to the next.

What size is a perfume box?
It depends on the bottle; there is no standard. Custom perfume cartons are sold at sizes such as 53 × 53 × 130 mm, and stock folding cartons at 57 × 57 × 152 mm (2.25 × 2.25 × 6 in). This mockup starts at 75 × 40 × 160 mm and takes any size within 30–250 × 20–150 × 50–350 mm. Width can be up to the length.
How do I make a perfume box mockup?
Set the size of your bottle, click Upload artwork and place your design on the dieline, then render the image. It runs in your browser.
Does the mockup show the perfume bottle?
No. The page shows the carton on its own, so the picture is of your packaging. Place the exported PNG next to your bottle photo in your own layout.
Can I see foil or embossing on the mockup?
Not yet. The mockup shows your printed artwork and the board color. Foil, embossing and coatings are finishes you specify to the printer.
Can I download the perfume box template?
Yes. Export the dieline as a PDF or SVG at full size for the carton you set. Ask them to check it against their own board and machines and to make a sample before the full run: board thickness, tolerances and glue areas differ from one factory to the next.
Can I download the perfume box mockup as a PNG?
Yes. Choose Transparent in the Background panel and the box downloads as a PNG with no background, ready to drop into your own layout.
