iPhone Air
iPhone Air is an all-new model that Apple announced on September 9, 2025 and released on September 19.[1] Apple calls it the thinnest iPhone ever made: it is 5.64 mm deep and pairs a 6.5-inch display with the A19 Pro chip.[1][2]
Display
The 6.5-inch Super Retina XDR display is 2736 × 1260 pixels at 460 ppi, with ProMotion up to 120Hz and the Dynamic Island at the top.[2] A full-bleed portrait screen is 1260 × 2736 pixels.[2] Other 2025 models differ, with 2622 × 1206 on iPhone 17 Pro and 2868 × 1320 on the Pro Max, so plan a separate file.[4][5]
Design and colors
The finishes are Sky Blue, Light Gold, Cloud White and Space Black.[3] The frame is grade 5 titanium with a high-gloss mirror finish, which contrasts with the textured matte Ceramic Shield on the back.[1][3]
Plateau and buttons
A single 48MP Fusion Main camera sits in a plateau that runs from side to side, precision-milled to house the cameras, speaker and Apple silicon.[1][2][3] The Action button is on the upper left and Camera Control on the lower right.[3] There is no SIM tray, and USB-C is on the bottom.[3]
