iPhone 13
iPhone 13 is the 6.1-inch standard model of Apple's 2021 lineup, announced with iPhone 13 mini on September 14, 2021 and released on September 24.[1] Apple raised its maximum outdoor brightness by 28 percent, to 800 nits.[1]
Display
The panel has 2532 × 1170 pixels at 460 ppi.[2] In portrait, that makes a 1170 × 2532 pixel canvas. Up top, a notch holds the TrueDepth camera for Face ID, redesigned to be smaller and leave more display area.[1] iPhone 14 and iPhone 12 use the same resolution, so one screen file works on all three.[4][5]
Design and colors
Apple lists six colors: Green, Pink, Blue, Starlight, (PRODUCT)RED and Midnight.[2] The launch release named five, and Green joined the lineup later.[1][2] The back is glass, framed by a flat-edged anodized aluminum band.[3]
Camera layout
Its two 12MP rear cameras, Wide and Ultra Wide, sit diagonally in a camera layout Apple redesigned for this generation.[1][3] A Dual-LED True Tone flash is also on the back.[3] The side button is on the right, and a nano-SIM tray is on the left.[3]
