Wiki
iPhone 12 Pro Max
iPhone 12 Pro Max is the 6.7-inch Pro model of Apple's 2020 lineup, announced on October 13, 2020 and released on November 13, three weeks after iPhone 12 Pro.[1] At launch, Apple called its display the largest ever on an iPhone.[1]
Display
The panel is 2778 × 1284 pixels at 458 ppi, with 1200 nits maximum brightness for HDR.[2] A full-screen portrait image is 1284 × 2778 pixels. A notch at the top houses the TrueDepth camera for Face ID.[2] iPhone 14 Plus and iPhone 13 Pro Max reuse this resolution, so the same artwork fits all three.[4][5]
Design and colors
Pacific Blue, Gold, Graphite and Silver are its four finishes, all available from launch.[1][2] A flat-edge, surgical-grade stainless steel band surrounds a precision-milled matte glass back.[1] Apple describes the display as edge-to-edge, with reduced borders.[1]
Cameras and MagSafe
The back holds three 12MP cameras: Ultra Wide, Wide and a 65 mm Telephoto, for a 5x optical zoom range.[1][2] A LiDAR Scanner is also on the back.[3] MagSafe places an array of magnets around the wireless charging coil, so accessories snap onto the back.[1]
