iPhone 11
iPhone 11 was announced on September 10, 2019 and released on September 20.[1] It has a 6.1-inch Liquid Retina HD display, an LCD, and a new dual-camera system with Ultra Wide and Wide cameras.[1][2]
Display
The LCD is 1792 × 828 pixels at 326 ppi.[2] Upright, a full-screen image is 828 × 1792 pixels, and the notch at the top holds the TrueDepth camera for Face ID.[2] iPhone XR uses the same 6.1-inch size and resolution, so one screen file works for both.[4]
Design and colors
It came in six colors: Purple, Yellow, Green, Black, White and (PRODUCT)RED.[1][2] The back is precision milled from a single piece of glass, and an anodized aluminum band runs around the frame.[1][3]
Back and ports
Two 12MP cameras, Ultra Wide and Wide, sit on the glass back with a Dual-LED True Tone flash.[2][3] iPhone 11 Pro, announced the same day, adds a Telephoto camera and a textured matte glass back.[5] Charging and data go through a Lightning connector, and the side button is on the right.[2][3]
