Samsung Galaxy S25+
Galaxy S25+ is the 6.7-inch model of Samsung's Galaxy S25 series, announced on January 22, 2025 and generally available from February 7.[1][2] The series introduced multimodal AI agents and a customized Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chip, and the frames of Galaxy S25+ and S25 use recycled armor aluminum for the first time.[1]
Display
The Dynamic AMOLED 2X display measures 6.7 inches across the full rectangle and 3120 × 1440 pixels (Quad HD+), with a 120Hz refresh rate that ranges from 1 to 120Hz.[1][3] GSMArena lists the pixel density at about 513 ppi and describes the selfie camera as sitting in a small perforation centered at the top of the screen.[4][5] For full-screen art, work at 1440 × 3120 pixels and leave room for the rounded corners and the camera hole.[1][3] Samsung's ProScaler image scaling is supported on Galaxy S25+ and Galaxy S25 Ultra.[1]
Design and colors
Samsung offered Galaxy S25+ in Navy, Silver Shadow, Icyblue and Mint, with Blueblack, Coralred and Pinkgold sold only on Samsung.com.[1][2] The metal frame incorporates recycled armor aluminum.[1] The body measures 158.4 × 75.8 × 7.3 mm, weighs 190 g and is rated IP68.[1][3]
Chip and cameras
The Galaxy S25 series is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy, which Samsung and Qualcomm customized together.[1] The rear cameras are a 50MP wide, a 12MP ultra-wide and a 10MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom, and the front camera is 12MP.[1] It launched with Android 15 and One UI 7 and has a 4,900 mAh battery.[1]
