Wiki

Google Pixel 4a

Pixel 4a is a 5.8-inch phone that Google announced on August 3, 2020 and made available in the United States on August 20.[1] It carried over the camera experiences of Pixel 4 in a redesigned body with a hole-punch front camera, and it runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G.[1]

Display

The 5.8-inch OLED display has 2340 × 1080 pixels at about 443 ppi in a 19.5:9 ratio.[1][2] The front camera sits in a circular cutout in the upper left corner, and the bezels around the screen are slim and uniform.[3] For full-screen art, work at 1080 × 2340 pixels and keep key content clear of the camera cutout.[2][3] Samsung Galaxy S25 and Samsung Galaxy S26 have the same 2340 × 1080 pixel count, so a single screen file fits all three.[4][5]

Design and colors

Pixel 4a launched in Just Black, with a matte finish and a mint-colored power button.[1] A limited edition Barely Blue color was later added to the Google Store.[3] The body is a polycarbonate unibody with Gorilla Glass 3 over the screen; it measures 144 × 69.4 × 8.2 mm and weighs 143 g.[2][3]

Camera, fingerprint sensor and ports

The back has a single 12.2-megapixel camera in a raised square module and a capacitive fingerprint sensor.[3] There are stereo speakers, a 3.5 mm headphone jack and a USB-C port.[3] Inside are a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G, 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage.[1]
