Wiki
MacBook Pro 16-inch 2019
MacBook Pro (16-inch, 2019) is an Intel-based Apple notebook, announced on November 13, 2019 and available to order the same day.[1][2] It introduced a 16-inch Retina display, a Magic Keyboard with a scissor mechanism and a physical Escape key, and a redesigned six-speaker sound system.[1]
Display
The Retina display measures 16 inches on the diagonal, with a native resolution of 3072 × 1920 pixels at 226 pixels per inch, 500 nits of brightness and P3 wide color.[2] Apple describes a camera housing in the screen only for MacBook Pro models with a Liquid Retina XDR display; this model has a Retina display, so nothing cuts into the picture.[3][2] For full-screen art, work at 3072 × 1920 pixels in landscape, a 16:10 rectangle.[2]
Magic Keyboard and Touch Bar
The Magic Keyboard has a scissor mechanism with 1 mm of key travel, a physical Escape key and arrow keys in an inverted-T arrangement.[1] The notebook also has a Touch Bar, Touch ID and a Force Touch trackpad.[1][2]
Processors, ports and finishes
Apple sold it with a 6-core Intel Core i7 or an 8-core Intel Core i9 processor and AMD Radeon Pro 5000M series graphics.[2][1] It has four Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) ports and a 3.5 mm headphone jack.[2] It came in Silver and Space Gray, and the body is 35.79 cm wide, 24.59 cm deep and 1.62 cm tall.[4][2]
