Wiki
iPhone 15 Pro Max
iPhone 15 Pro Max is the larger of Apple's two 2023 Pro models, announced on September 12, 2023 and released on September 22.[1] Its 6.7-inch Super Retina XDR display sits in a titanium design, which Apple called a first for iPhone.[1][2]
Display
Apple specifies 2796 × 1290 pixels at 460 ppi for this panel, along with ProMotion up to 120Hz and an Always-On mode.[2] Portrait screen artwork should measure 1290 × 2796 pixels, and the Dynamic Island sits near the top edge.[2][3] iPhone 16 Plus and iPhone 15 Plus share this size and resolution, so one artwork file fits all three.[2][4][5]
Design and colors
It came in four finishes: White Titanium, Blue Titanium, Natural Titanium and Black Titanium.[2][3] The contoured-edge titanium band has a brushed texture and wraps a textured matte glass back.[1][3] At launch, Apple described the borders around the display as the thinnest on iPhone.[1]
Camera layout
The back holds three cameras, Ultra Wide, Main and Telephoto, plus a LiDAR Scanner and an LED True Tone flash.[3] Its Telephoto is a 5x, 120 mm camera with a tetraprism design, which Apple kept exclusive to iPhone 15 Pro Max that year.[1][2] The Action button sits on the upper left side, and USB-C is on the bottom.[3]
